I’ve been coming to the Map Room at the Royal Geographical Society for ten years - but this time it’s different. This time I’m here as a Fellow. Seeing Shackleton, Edward Hilary and Tenzing Norgay on the walls, I wonder what frontiers of exploration remain. I also reflect on where I fit, what I’ve contributed and still have to contribute to building an understanding of our world.

Peer Researchers are young people with lived experience of the issues being explored. You don’t need to have a research background — just an interest in listening, learning, and sharing ideas. We welcome young adults who are already involved with Esteem, as well as those who aren’t but who bring different experiences and perspectives.
